‘Only on holiday do you really get to know each other’. That certainly applies to divorced diver Vince (Tom Waes) and his teenage daughter Zoë (Freya Van Campenhout). They go on a trip together for the first time in a long time, to the Dutch island of Terschelling. Vince wants to prove he is the cool dad, hoping to repair their relationship. But that's not so simple in a place where the ‘islanders’
invariably denigratingly call tourists ‘bathers’. That, and a host of mutual problems, secrets and lies, make things very difficult for Vince and Zoe. It remains to be seen whether father and daughter will find each other on the island....
